Why Walton?

In its mission to enhance the quality of life for people with acquired disabilities, Walton provides supportive services for those with a temporary or life-changing injury or illness. This includes Walton Community Services and Walton Foundation for Independence. Walton is also a community partner with Walton Options for Independent Living, which advocates and provides supportive services for those with acquired disabilities.

Accreditations and Awards

Walton was honored with the 2007 NAHMA's Communities of Quality awards for the Development for the Elderly and the Development for Residents with Special Needs.

Walton received the 2003 Magnolia Award for Excellence in affordable, accessible rental housing.

Walton was awarded the 2002 Georgia Hospital Association Community Leadership Award for exemplary leadership and initiative contributing to the health and well-being of the people of Georgia.
