Volunteer Opportunities Now Available At Walton
Augusta, GA—Have an interest in health care and in gaining experience through volunteer work? Walton Rehabilitation Health System has launched a new volunteer services program and is actively seeking volunteers ages 16 and older.
Volunteers can sign up for one of four tracks:
- Patient care volunteers have direct interaction with patients and may participate in activities like transporting patients throughout the hospital, organizing leisure activities or delivering meals;
- Clerical volunteers assist with general administrative tasks such as filing or compiling information for education packets;
- Special project volunteers help with one-time projects such as maintaining bird feeders, simple painting or groundskeeping.
- Special event volunteers help with all elements of promoting, setting up and staffing Walton events.
