Augusta, GA—Two Walton Community Services employees recently earned their Fair Housing Certification from the Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association.
Sheena Hull-Clark, Assistant Property Manager, and JaMel Overton, Assistant Property Manager, completed voluntary Section 504 Fair Housing Training and an exam to achieve the certification. The training educates those working in the housing industry regarding laws on discrimination to ensure compliance in housing management. Certification also designates a certain level of training and expertise in housing services.
Walton Community Services manages 10 affordable/accessible independent living communities for seniors and those with disabilities. Three additional communities in Augusta, North Augusta and South Augusta are currently in progress.
