Walton RNs Earn Specialized Rehabilitation Certification

Augusta, GAThree registered nurses at Walton Rehabilitation Health System recently earned specialized certification in rehabilitation nursing.

Ellen Tennis, RN, Myra Faglier, RN, and Joan O’Neal, RN, MSN, passed the Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse exam in December. CRRN certification demonstrates excellence in care by validating qualifications and specialized knowledge in rehabilitation nursing.

There are currently only about 10,000 CRRNs in the United States. Applicants must have a current, unrestricted RN license and have completed two years of practice as a RN in rehabilitation nursing (or one year of practice and one year of advanced study). The CRRN credential is administered by the Rehabilitation Nursing Certification Board, an autonomous component of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses.
