Walton Honors Employees During Rehab Awareness Week

Augusta, GA—During Walton Rehabilitation Health System’s annual employee luncheon to celebrate Rehab Awareness Week, four Walton employees received the Diamond Deed award, which honors employees who have demonstrated the values of excellence, professionalism, customer focus, teamwork, positive approach, advocacy, creativity/innovation and stewardship.

            This year’s honorees are:
  • Minnie Coney, Dietary Manager, Walton Rehabilitation Health System
  • Rebekah Gillespie, Physical Therapist, Walton Rehabilitation Hospital
  • Ann Winter, RN, Walton Rehabilitation Hospital
  • Ashton Graham, Lead Life Skills Teacher, Walton West Transitional Living Center
“We all hear about the car accident or injury, but many times, the rest of the story is missed. And often, that’s where rehabilitation plays its role,” said Dennis Skelley, President and CEO, Walton Rehabilitation Health System. “Rehab Awareness Week is a special time for us to celebrate and recognize our staff as well as the achievements of the patients and clients that are served every day by Walton’s many facilities and programs.”

Employees are nominated for the Diamond Deed award by their peers and are selected by a randomly chosen committee.
