Have a Question? “Ask the President” on Walton’s New Interactive Website
Augusta, GA—Walton Rehabilitation Health System President and CEO Dennis Skelley receives hundreds of emails a day from staff and others, but the one he received the night of July 1 was unique—it was the first sent to him via the new “Ask the President” link on Walton’s website, www.wrh.org.
The new feature is part of Walton’s website relaunch. The newly redesigned site features detailed information on Walton’s services and programs, including rehabilitation, pain and headache and community support, but an important goal of the new site was for it to become more interactive. So along with the “Ask the President” feature, patients also have the opportunity to share their stories through the “Our Patient Stories” tab, helping to inspire others who are working to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Visitors may also interact through the “Upala Blog” link, which follows the adventures of Walton Chaplain Dexter Lambert and others as Walton continues to help support the building of a rehabilitation center in Upala, Costa Rica.
Many of Walton’s services are now accessible online as well, including online bill payment, downloadable applications and guidelines for accessible housing, initial visit forms for the Walton Pain and Headache Center, online subscriptions to The Walton Independent, and online donations to the Walton Foundation for Independence.
