Medical Interests

In addition to general training in the specialty of PM&R with developed skills in electrodiagnostic medicine, non-operative orthopedics, pain control, spinal cord injury, and prosthetics/orthotics, I have a particular interest in neuropharmacology, spasticity management, and the application of the newest discoveries of neuroscience to the field of rehabilitation.

I strive to empower my patients to reach their full self-actualized potential through: (1) an understanding of the course of recovery of brain injury and stroke from acute hospitalization through reintegration into the community and (2) the utilization and continued development of the comprehensive rehabilitation services available at Walton Rehabilitation.

Personal Philosophy

Lives change in an instant after a brain injury or stroke. Both the survivors of brain injuries and strokes and their families are faced with a full spectrum of new difficulties -from meeting the most basic physical necessities to confronting often troubling questions of identity and purpose. I hope to provide survivors and their families with the knowledge, skills, and resources that will help them to regain a sense of control and set them on fastest road to recovery.
