Dining
Patient Dining
Mealtime is an important part of rehabilitation. Most meals are served in the patient dining areas, except under special circumstances.
Patients who have swallowing difficulties or are practicing skills learned in therapy are treated in a private dining area with their therapist or nurse.
Some patients may have special dietary considerations due to medications and swallowing problems. In such cases, we ask that visitors refrain from bringing food or beverages to patients unless it has been approved in advance by the physician.
Visitor Dining
Visitors are welcome to dine in our Walton Café during the following hours:
11 am to 1:30 pm
5:30 to 7 pm
Vending machines are located at Walton Rehabilitation Hospital in the main lounge.
