Walton’s Department of Behavioral Medicine provides inpatient and outpatient services to help diagnose and treat complicated neurological or psychological conditions. The department also provides aid for patients and families working through issues related to a change in lifestyle due to illness or injury.  Services related to chronic pain are also available, such as psychotherapy and biofeedback.

Services include adult and pediatric neuropsychology as well as adult and pediatric psychology.

Inpatient Services

As part of our inpatient services at Walton Rehabilitation Hospital, our neuropsychologists and psychologists work closely with medical directors in brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke and amputations, administration and staff to help improve recovery and cognition of our patients and support patients and families during the often difficult adjustment to a life-changing injury or illness.
